Auditing Food safety

Peter Clarke is registered with the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA) as a QMS2000 auditor. He has been auditing quality and environmental management systems since 1991, in both the food and non-food sectors.

Peter offers a variety of auditing services, including auditor training - see training page for details. Competency can be demonstrated where applicable for auditing systems accredited to ISO, BRC, EFSIS or FEMAS systems.

Internal auditing

Peter Clarke can provide a full and independent internal audit service, relieving you of the need to train auditors, and the requirement to free up auditors from their normal important work. He can schedule, prepare and perform the audits, report back to you and follow up where necessary.
He also performs single audits, where resources are tight and your own audit team needs a little backup.

Supplier auditing

Supplier auditing is a vital part of business effectiveness, and can hep to comply with the law - especially when considering due diligence. Peter can perform an effective supplier audit service giving you peace of mind that your suppliers are working to a satisfactory level of hygiene, quality and safety

Environmental auditing

This relatively new but increasingly important area can also be covered. This can help to prove legal compliance, or just used to demonstrate to your customers and yourself that your environmental systems are under control

Hygiene auditing

This can be provided to demonstrate the hygienic status of your premises, and also a scoring system can be used to show trends upwards or downwards. Action lists and/or digital photographs can be included to illustrate findings and allow corrective action.
